About Me. The path here.
I’m Dekel. My path through art, music and working with people shaped the product designer I am today.
Learning to see.
Art taught me to see before I design.
Fine art and graphic design taught me composition, color and visual storytelling, first on paper, then in Macromedia FreeHand. That perspective follows me into every interface I design.
Finding my voice.
Singing shapes my sense of rhythm and expression.
Singing brings together breath, phrasing, rhythm and expression. As a vocalist, I think about how a moment feels — and how it connects with the person listening.
Understanding what people truly need.
Customer conversations taught me to listen first.
My roots in marketing and sales taught me to listen before proposing a solution, and to connect people’s needs with business goals.
Helping people do their best work.
Helping a team thrive starts with clear systems.
My experience in leadership brings communication, shared goals and the wider business picture into how I work with a team.
Where art meets function.
I turn real needs into usable, considered products.
Product and UX/UI design are where I bring these experiences together, turning what I learn about people into usable interfaces.
More ways to make an idea real.
AI helps me make ideas tangible sooner.
I use AI to explore visual directions, build prototypes and tell stories. It expands how I develop ideas while I direct the design.
Ideas, set in motion.
I direct images, pacing and movement into a story.
I use AI video to explore visual storytelling — directing the concept, camera movement, pacing and transitions into one coherent experience.
Let’s make something worth remembering.
Product thinking. Visual craft. A human point of view.
